We are located 5 minutes away from The Huron National Forest which consists of 17,000 acres. Hiking, ATV use and Motorcycle use is allowed in this area. Our cabin is currently for sale. (Located under 3 hours from Detroit, 30 minutes from Tawas and 40 minutes from West Branch). My family has spent summers in this area for almost 40 years. Personally it is my favorite place on earth allowing you to take a deep breath and relax! Take joy in boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing and relaxing on a 417 acre, all sports lake. Included is a kayak, rowboat, tube, fishing poles, linens, cable, Hi Speed Internet, bedding, AC, and gas grill. You will have fun and freedom exploring the beauty of the lake, tubing, and fishing. The lake is stocked with walleye, bass, pike and pan fish. There is also a long dock if you choose to bring your own boat. The lake is a 190-acre all sports lake that you can enjoy swimming, fishing, water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking (provided with rental), or relaxing on the water with beautiful sunsets. Our 50-feet of lake frontage offers a sandy bottom shallow swim area great for kids, dogs and the whole family. There is boat launch close by on the East side of the lake and a dock available off the beach at the cottage for Boats and Jet Skis. Pontoon boat rentals can be arranged locally (property owners can share contact info upon confirmed rental; property owners not responsible for boat or jet ski rentals) The main room features a living room that adjoins to a full kitchen with eating area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. The living room exits onto a large deck that overlooks the lake. The deck has a large table and outdoor couch set over-looking the water. There is a master bedroom that overlooks the lake, with a queen-sized bed. Across the hall is a room that has a double bed, great for another couple. The third bedroom is great for kids, with a trundle bed (2 single beds which can be made into a one larger bed). The couch in the living room is a sleeper sofa that opens to a queen sized bed. In total there is room to sleep 8 in beds. Two single sized air matresses are also available, for extra sleeping capacity, plus a pack-n-play for babies. Londo Lake is right next to Sage Lake where the famous Cruisin Coney Island is located. Additionally, we are 20 minutes south of the Huron National Forest, Lumberman's Monument, Iargo Springs Interpretive Site and the Au Sable river. Here's what some past guests have said: Summer 2016 - HAD A GREAT TIME! The homeowners did a very nice job communicating with us and were very responsive; they were great to work with. The process was smooth and easy! The home suited our needs well and was stocked with lots of little "extras" that were handy not to drag with us. Londo Lake is a great spot to be at and we'd definitely consider renting here again! Summer 2015 - A GREAT COZY HOME AWAY FROM HOME Our whole family had a great time and it was well worth the drive from Chicago. The private water access, nice porch area, boats, and comfy beds were perfect. The house was clean and neat but not fancy. Not much in town but that's ok because we were all about spending days in/on the the lake. We did get to check out the county fair which was pretty nice and the ice cream shop "downtown" was cute too. The owners were super sweet and helpful to us.

Lake View Cottage in Lupton, MI is 20 minutes from West Branch. It is located in between, two all sports lakes and is adjacent to Rifle River state park. The 800 square foot cottage has been recently updated, New Furnace in 2015 and has a working fireplace for those cool spring, autumnal and winter nights. The cottage is ideal for a family up to 6 people who enjoy swimming, hiking, grilling, and hanging out in an awesome community with tons of kids!

This property is located in Hale MI on all sports Sage Lake. This property is surrounded by water with lake views from every window in the house. With 4 bedrooms it offers enough sleeping space for 12+ people. This property can also be used to house guests from our other property at near by Zeron's Island (Property # 479675) also on Sage Lake. It has plenty of parking, nice outdoor patio and BBQ area, as well as a lake side fire pit area. We have a 2 person paddle pontoon for renter use as well an a pontoon boat for rent. With 4 queen size beds up stairs (3 in the big room upstairs, & 2 separate sleeping areas upstairs), 1 sleeper sofa, and one king size bed in the master bedroom on the main level there is plenty of room to sleep. There is a nice size living room on the main floor with a bar top over looking into the kitchen as well as another living room area upstairs that has the sleeper sofa that would be perfect for the kids to play in. This property comes with the option to rent one of three different pontoon boats. We only make the pontoon boat a requirement when booking a weekend stay during the peak season (Memorial weekend thru Labor Day weekend). This is a 7 1/2 acre island, Privately owned, only you and your guests will be on it. This island has over 2000 feet of sandy shoreline, there are two docks for boat docking and great fishing surrounds the island. We have 3 different pontoon boats available to rent as an option if you do not have your own boat to bring for transportation to and from the island. The only regular visitors to the island are you & your group and the occasional Bald Eagle, Loon, or other Michigan wildlife. In addition to all that, there is a beautiful two story home/cabin. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom on the main floor and a large loft on the second floor that over looks the lower level and has great Lake views. The master bedroom has a King size bed and the next bedroom has a Queen size bed in it. The upstairs loft has two Queen size beds in it and a queen futon sofa bed. The living room also has a fold out sofa bed. This cabin is fully furnished and supplied with all linens, towels, and all the kitchen cupboards are filled with everything you’d need for cooking and dining. The large beautifully landscaped yard also doubles as a camping area for extra guests and there’s even an extra full bathroom bath house for outdoor guests to use. The two tier custom built outside brick patio sports a gas BBQ grill with granite counter tops for cooking space as well as a new tiki bar for the perfect outdoor gathering area on the upper tier and built in brick fire pit area right next to the water for a perfect area to sit under the stars around a fire with friends and family. Our newly added sandy beach area now sits just off the side of the lower tier fire pit area and is a great new addition for kids to swim and play in the water right off to the side in front of the cabin. This Island paradise has the most serene patio settings for enjoying a morning cup of coffee and some afternoon sunbathing. The sandy bottom beach area surrounding the island is great for swimming. The Island has so much to offer. It is a wonderful retreat for anyone wanting to enjoy the calm of nature on your own or with friends and family! It includes a wonderful hiking trail approximately one mile long around the inland wooded area. It makes a great family reunion destination or even a beautiful Island Wedding location! You can rent your own pontoon with the island. For transportation to and from the island, boating, fishing, or just to see the sites of the lake. It is optional to rent one of our pontoon boats except for for holidays, special events, and weekend dates during June July & August then it is included/required. We have a 2014 Misty Harbor 22ft pontoon that rents for $250 a night, or you can rent an almost brand new 2020 Misty Harbor pontoon boat for $300 a day. Inquire for weekly and or special rates as well. Rates are subject to change at anytime. There is a 10 person limit for the cost per night. Any amount over 10 people would be subject to a $50 per night per person with a limit to 100 people with owner approval before hand. Larger group rates and/or weddings are available upon request request ONLY. If an instant booking is done without prior approval it will have to be cancelled and possibly loose the fees charged by VRBO. We have 3 different pontoon boat rentals available to rent however we also rent them thru our other property (ISLAND COVE Property # 729729 on VRBO) so not all 3 are always available. When an instant booking is done without any communication with management first VRBO is only capable of charging for one pontoon (water craft fee) which is for our cheapest/oldest pontoon which is $200 a night (weekly rates available upon request). Sometimes the VRBO site doesn’t calculate the pontoon rental rate properly based on how many nights you book for and only charges for one night ($200) pontoon rental, seems to happen a lot more with instant bookings and VRBO cannot figure out why, so they said to state it here so there are no future surprise charges after an instant booking. When that happens there will be an added charge based on which pontoon you’d like to rent/is available for however many days of your stay. A refund/partial payment cancellation can also be made if you’re bringing your own boat and wish not to rent one. However there must be a boat available for renters use (either one of our rentals or a renters personal boat) in the case of an emergency.

My home has two bedrooms and 2 &1/2 baths in main part and then also I have a mother in law suite with full kitchen and full bath that are attached but private. Beautiful views of Sand Lake from inside or when sitting on the waterside decks or by the fire pit roasting marshmallows. The home is located 14 miles from the great town of East Tawas, Michigan. There are so many activities in our area at all times of the year and this Home is located in the center of it all. Within a few 100 feet is our local grocery and pizza party store and our old town bar that is always a fun place for food and drink. This gorgeous cabin is located on an all sports lake and was recently renovated to an open floor plan. The bathroom has a full tub/shower with an endless hot water system. Equipped with dish network, DVD/CD & portable radio & patio fire pit to use. There is a full size charcoal grill on the uncovered brick patio along with a couple of chairs & a picnic table. The yard is large enough to play games and also has a large fire pit. All of the essentials you might need (including movie rentals, ice cream stand, pizza, hot food, fire wood, etc.) is located across the street. There is a bike/rollerblade/walking path right outside the front door which will take you around all 7 lakes in the area. A playground is located around the corner and a public beach/picnic area on Sand Lake is about 1/4 mile, restaurants, gas station & additional stores (all along the bike path). We are located 15 minutes from East Tawas where there is plenty of shopping, piers for fishing, beaches on Lake Huron, putt putt golf, etc. We are also 30 minutes either way from Omer & Oscoda where there are canoe rentals. Hale is 15 minutes away also. Please note that there are 2 cabins located on the same property which share the private sandy beach, yard and large fire-pit.

Don't forget the many hiking trails located within the Huron National Forest that surrounds all of Glennie. Glennie is known as the Heart of the Huron National Forest. Our favorite hiking trails are Lumberman's Monument and the Highbanks that overlook the scenic Ausable River views. We are also only 1 mile away from the Eagle Ridge Golf Course. Guest access: With all there is to do outdoors we are sure you will not need it, but we provide free WiFi, TV's with a smart blue ray players or fire sticks (hulu, amazon prime, netflix, etc using your own logins except for hulu), as well as board games and cards for entertainment. There is central air conditioning but feel free to use the windows if you like. The cottage is fully furnished with linens and towels. The kitchen is also stocked with pots, pans, bake-ware, cutlery, dishes and serving utensils. There is a stove, propane grill (propane is provided), toaster, microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot (a drip coffee pot as well as a kcup - coffee, creamer and sugar are provided). That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in the home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. 5.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property there will be a $150 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately or vacate the premises without a refund. 6.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. 7.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification if needed. 8.) Outside fires can ONLY be started in the fire ring in the back yard. Outdoor fires may not be done anywhere else. 9.) There is no Life Guard on duty at any time at the lake. All children must be attended at all times. Swim at your own risk. 10.) If the boat is rented, there is no drinking while operating the boat. Only person's 25 and older may operate the craft. Life vests must be worn at all times. Hunters Lake is a NO WAKE lake and the boat must be driven counter clockwise around the lake per association rules. The boat is used at your own risk.

A lesser known inland lake that's almost never "overcrowded", a seemingly private setting at times, popular with fisherman and pontoon sailors, plenty of room to enjoy swimming, tubing or PWCs during the day and fishing in the mornings and evenings. Hardwood Lake has great bass, pike, and perch fishing. Many nice catches recorded right off my boat dock and channel. Hunters will love the 180 acres of State land right across the street! According to the DNR, the area has one of the largest concentrations of deer per square mile in Michigan. Several challenging golf courses, canoeing and tubing on the world famous Rifle River are only 15-20 minutes away. Bring your watercraft, the dock will accommodate a 24' boat and/or a couple jet skis and the boat launch is just around the corner on the lake. Centrally located between the restaurants and Outlet mall in West Branch (15 minutes) and East Tawas/Tawas Bay (25 minutes) where you'll find great little shops and good dining on the Lake Huron shoreline. (Be sure to check out The Tipsy Bear Bistro in downtown West Branch, our personal favorite restaurant in the area.)

This is a large, ranch home located on a double lot lake frontage beach with a gradual, walk-out, sandy lake. The Lodge at Loon Lake is situated on a 2 acre wooded lot overlooking pristine Loon Lake. The Lodge is only available on a Sunday checkin (1:00pm) and Saturday check out (1:00pm) basis. Loon Lake is approximately 120 acres in size and is located within the Huron National Forest. The 4 bedroom lodge sits above the lake facing west. Every evening brings incredible sunsets over the lake. Only about one third of the shoreline has homes and cottages. The rest of the shoreline is nature at its best. If you are looking for a noisy, loud, power boating lake this is NOT IT. Loon Lake is a quiet, beautiful lake where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, relaxing on the water and viewing beautiful sunsets. The Lodge at Loon Lake was built in the 1950's and still has that special north woods feel and atmosphere. The entire exterior has been log sided with field stone trim. All the furniture, bedding and decorations have a north woods look. The interior is all knotty pine with wood floors. The large living room has a high ceiling with a stone fireplace. The dining room table can sit up to 8 persons and has a door wall that leads to the upper deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need. There is also a small bistro table ideal for having morning coffee and looking over the lake. The master bedroom has a king bed and bathroom. There is a full second bathroom located next to both the Moose and Bear bedrooms. Both of these bedrooms have queen size beds. There is also an upstairs sleeping loft overlooking the main living area which has 4 twin beds. There is a fully equipped laundry room downstairs. On the outside of the lodge and facing the lake is a screen house located under the upper deck, There is also a field stone barbecue and a fire ring for campfires. With the lodge located above the lake there is a stepped walkway down to the lake side decks and water. Here there is a fishing boat with electric trolling motor, 4 person paddle boat, canoe and 2 kayaks along with a shed containing seat cushions, life vests and other water toys.

Chalet Ten is available for the full week of 7/6-7/13, seven full nights. Sommer Dorf resort has 14 cabins and is the only resort on private all-sports Lake Ogemaw near West Branch Mi. There are two bedrooms on the main floor with full size beds plus two full-size beds together in the loft upstairs to accommodate max of eight guests for the week. This beautiful cedar cabin has a large furnished deck, picnic table & charcoal park grill and is centrally located just steps from the shared beach. Kitchen has small stove + apartment size fridge & coffeemaker, toaster & microwave. Indoor shower /bathroom, cable & tv, fully furnished. You bring towels.

Mack Lake is a all-sports lake that features great pontooning, fishing, boating activities. This 3 bedroom 2 bath log home was built in the 60's. It has been completely updated and sits atop a hill on beautiful Lake Ogemaw. The view is beautiful. The home is located just over 2 hours from the Detroit area. Whether you want to gaze at the fall colors, enjoy the up north fresh area or ride the trails in West Branch, this is a cozy "cabin" to relax and enjoy. The cabin is about a 15 minute drive to downtown W Branch.

Near to the Ogemaw fair grounds, in the neighborhood for off road trails, along with shopping and other attractions West Branch has to offer. Home offers two queen beds along with a hid-a-bed that is a full. Has sleeping available for 6 people. WiFi will hopefully be available in early March. Pulling onto a nice driveway, you will find the cottage easily accessible, as you have access to the 2 car garage (with opener), which makes unpacking or packing the car very convenient regardless of the weather. Entering the cottage, there is a convenient area to take off your boots, hang up a wet towel, or just place all your coats together. Through the door, you will immediately be captured by the gorgeous view from the large window across the living room. The view of the small lawn and surrounding trees are ideal when you want to watch your children playing a lawn game. You will also see the ideal space for your family to share meals on the beautiful, wood table, located directly across from the well-stocked kitchen. The kitchen has all your basic necessities, along with a few bonus small appliances, such as a micro-grill and blender. Unlike many vacation rentals, this cottage actually has a dishwasher and air conditioning, although the upstairs bedrooms still get quite warm in the summer. There is basic air conditioning ONLY on the main floor. The upstairs bedrooms are NOT air conditioned Not only are the kitchen and dining areas on the main floor, you will also find a great living space with a comfortable, large couch for watching your favorite shows on the Smart TV. The main floor also has a wide, comfortable, year-round sunroom. Sit at the table with your laptop as you get caught up on emails from work, or cozy up on the couch with a book on the opposite side of the porch. Watch the snow fall, or your kids play on the beach, all from the comfort of the year round porch. This is ideal for anyone who would struggle getting down the incline to the beach area, yet want to watch the fun. .There is also a bedroom located on the main floor with a queen bed, which overlooks the grassy area. Even though the amenities are plenty and the comfort level high, it's hard to spend much time inside the cozy cottage when there is so much to experience on the outside. Across the living room are the stairs leading to the 2 upstairs bedrooms, which both have a queen-sized bed. One upstairs bedroom faces the water, while the other faces the woods. Between the 2 bedrooms, there is a small 1/2 bath with a toilet and sink, which is very convenient for those middle of the night trips to the bathroom. *Remember, even with air-conditioning on the main level, the upstairs bedrooms get quite warm in the summer. The air-conditioning works well on the main floor and walk-out basement areas only. In the basement, there are 2 additional twin beds, plus a convenient stove and fridge. There are a washer and dryer located in the basement kitchen area as well. On rainy days, bring your family together in the basement and enjoy a ping pong tournament!
